This is my little corner on the vast and sometimes ugly internet.

I'm Ole Krogh, an IT nerd from Aarhus. I started in IT in 1988 and I'm still not bored. I like turning a messy, manual job into something that runs by itself.

Outside work you'll find me on a bike, in the kitchen or behind a camera, usually with a glass of wine nearby. I live in Stavtrup, a suburb of Aarhus, with my wife and two adult children.

This site is where I keep examples of what I do, at work and in my spare time, so the content may vary widely.

Senior IT Systems Engineer at Danske Commodities

I design, secure and automate the IT platforms behind a global energy trading business. Since 2021 that has meant Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualisation and monitoring, built to stay up and to be easy to live with.

Career

Mostly Microsoft infrastructure, from the support desk to architecture and back to hands-on engineering.
